Going through the worlds that we watched as kids is just great, atleast for me. It's final fantasy with a very big twist ( other than the disney land characters!), in final fantasy the battles like "gaming skills" and they were more tacticall than the average game, this game mixes traditional action games with final fantasy fighting which I think is great and surprising. I was very surprised with my first battle when I started moving around I very much thought that it would be exactly like final fantasy 10 .
Other than that the main reason that this game has been succesful is for the same reason Smash Brothers was succesful, Squaresoft and Disney took charasters that were not used to beating the crap out of people and they did just the opposite, this gave us a situatuion that deep down in our hearts we always wanted to see. Goofy and all the other great disney characters hammering the bad guys.
