A great game for one best series that combines Disney & Square. This is for all ages but still hard.
Well for you whom are thinking this is a kid game i got news for ya....
It's no kids game! This is a hard challenging rpg/action game that will keep you trying for awhile just too beat a boss or area!
You are sora a kid who lives on destiny island with other kids which really is split into two main groups:
Kairi - Girl - Your group - Your friend who you hang out with and the others joke about how she's your girl friend ;p.
Riku - Boy - Your group - Your best friend and your rival you duel with you wooden swords a lot and you joke and help out Kairi.
Tidus - Boy - Selphie's group - A blonde who is close to Wakka and selphie but still your friend. He duels with a measuring stick.
Wakka - Boy - Selphie's group - A red head who likes to play volleyball and will talk about anything to anyone even secrets. He fights with his volley -balls doing different tricks.
Selphie - Girl - Her group - A blonde girl who is the leader of her group, for she bosses them around 24/7 getting annoying for them. But has a heart for others. When she fights she uses a jump-rope and when she loses she gets kinda dizzy.
You first see the intro and wake up in this dark place with a ground for you too walk on going through and seeing different badguys & doing the tutorial.
You later then get sucked up by a monster after trying to defeat it and fall back on the island. You then do some stuff around the island to level you up and play around when you,riku & kairi want to go to a different place. For kairi isn't from the island so they ( you and the 2 others ) start building a raft too go on a journy....... Later that night bad stuff happens and you get a keyblade though to keep you alive. Kairi & Riku have gone missing and now you want to search to find them later getting to Traverse Town.
You might be thinking now. What about Donald,Mickey,Goofy & Pluto ( and maybe jimminy!? ) Well later you meet up with Donald & Goofy in search of the King Mickey & Your friends.
Fighting: Pure awesomeness you use the wooden sword on the island and later the Keyblade a weapon that is used to defeat the hearless and seal keyholes to save the worlds. The fighting system is great having 4 diffrent commands:
Attack - Used to swing your keyblade and depending on what type of ability's you use you can change it for another type of mode.
Magic - You magic such as Fire & Blizzard that can be upgraded to such as Firaga and Blizzaga.
Items - Potions to heal some, Ether to restore some Magic Points, Elixers to fully do both. And other items.
Summon - You can summon people to help such as: Bambi,Tinkerbell, Giene and more!
The fighting system is very good may be a little hard but it is very fun and you can pick it up and become a pro with it. Theres different type of keyblades with different stats for you to combo with.
Sound: Music is awesome the sound is awesome it's great! There a lot of different music such as: Night on bald mountain, Winnie the pooh, A day in agrabah, and loads more!
Graphics: Awesome for the PS2 probably one of the best. Not 100% all the time and the camera gets messed up a little bit so the graphics may be a pixel off. But still really good.
Strategy: Yes to defeat each boss it has a huge amount of different strategy. Each place you go uses strategy that's enjoyable/fun/challenging all at the same time.
Enemys: There's these little ( and some verrryy huge ) black creatures called heartless! They're people who have got there hearts sucked up and turn into heartless and try to steal others hearts. They no longer have any controll of themselves and no feelings. There's LOADS of different hearless for you to beat! Including tournaments in Olympia for you to join in and beat some heartless! They each have a cool design and moves for you too try to counter and kill.
Mini-Bosses: Tidus,Wakka,Selphie & Riku are the first mini-bosses you face. A few heartless may be really hard and some may say it's a mini-boss.
Bosses: Loaded with bosses and they look awesome and are no push-over. Each boss has loads of different moves and strategy. When you first fight them might take 5 times to beat them but if you start the game over again and fight them again might be easier for ya. Probably this game has one of the best bosses in a game. From Disney bosses - Square bosses.
Storyline: Very good storyline you can go from another place and go back to another but the main storyline fits in! The main idea is to find/save
King Mickey,Riku & Kairi at the same time save the world from the heartless. The storyline isn't the best ever but it is Really Good~!
Length: Wow this game may last you 80 hours to beat the main game and 115 to get everything! It's 100% worth it though for this is one of the best action/rpg games i know of.
Flying: You get to fly in the "Gummy ship" that takes you from world to world. It's not a easy thing where you set course/get a soda/ come back and your there Oooh no. There's ships that can destroy you if your not carefull and even some special bad guys flying too. You can somewhat customize your gummi to a level but it's very fun to fly but it's not too hard or very easy.

Final thoughts/ Overall: These days you can buy it for around 20 - 30$ ( due too that it's a kind of old game ) but it's really worth 50$ even though it came out in 2002. This really brought me to the gaming world and without this game i probably would've never bought much games as i have right now. Really one of the best games i've ever played and i TOTALLY suggest it to ANY PS2 owner. I had loads of fun with it and i know you will too may be hard but you keep trying and you'll get the main hang of it!
