I feel content giving this one an "OK"
Even with all these pros, there is just something that doesn't seem to click just right with the formula. You know how you can tell when you're playing a great game? That feeling of euphoria or perhaps time seeming to fly bye? Yeah, see that doesn't really exist with KuF: The Crusaders. Not to say it's a bad game, because it's great.
The story is vert jumpy, but what I can basically get out of it is a batallion of human and elvish warriors fighting the evil masses. The graphics are pretty good for when this game came out, and all of the enemies shine beautifully when you get up close. The environment isn't bad persay, but it isn't exactly great.
Before I bought this game, I was under the assumption it played rather like Warcraft. That is, I thought it focused on one Hero from a bird's eye view and rotated around as you manuevered through battle. Close, but not quite. It's more of a focus on the entire army, with some key characters taking the spotlight every couple of seconds. It's not the best camera angle, but it could be worse.
I know it seems like a round-about way of saying it, but the game is subpar. If you feel like playing something new, it's just a $10 investment for about 20 hours of pretty good gameplay. All in all, just one of those bargain-bin games.
