Too many pitfalls.

I detest the way this game allows you to progress to a point of no turning back only to realize you didn't do a nessacary action earlier. I.E collect the skeleton key from the land of the dead, or collect water from the River Styx. If you neglect this, wich is VERY easy to do. You can play on for several more hours only to realize it was all in vain. If you don't have a saved game in the right spot, and don't mind the infuriating expierience of backtracking. You simply have to resart the game from scratch. Wich is one thing I choose not to do, even though I played clear through to the climax, I found myself trapped, and HAD been, unwittingly, several chapters before. Sadly, at that point I had no desire to restart from the begining, and will never have the satisfaction of beating, what would other wise be a very good, enjoyable game. If someone can prove me wrong on this point, I'd be glad to hear it!
