This game is alot of fun, it may be repetitive, but the game play styles represent old school arcade classics, top ride represents some old arcade racers, and air ride is particularly an enjoyable expereince and a tribute to classic racing! The air ride veichles are also very creative, and a different style to any racing game. This is a different game, insted of staying in the air, or staying on the ground, you have a variety of veichles to choose, like special air veichles, or fast and furious ground veichles, or a mixture of both, which in my opinion is alot of fun. The best style of gameplay by far to me is city trial. The objective is simple, break open a box, get whats inside, thrive to get the best machine you can, and look at the marvel of how amazing your machine is. Mini-games at the end prove your machine and its worth, and legendary machines also keep it fun. Random events are probably the best though, because of the opportunity to get an amazing amount of power-ups and prizes, putting you far in the lead. Multiplayer is the most fun aspect of the game though, LAN capabilities is also included, but probably not used anyway. A 4 player race fest is actually alot of fun, and destroying your friends veichles is probably a bad idea, but it's also fun to do that. This game overall is highly underrated, this game might only have 3 styles of play, but they're alot of fun, enjoyable, simple, and addicting, most of the time you can't play just one round! Pick this up as a rental first, but if you decide to buy it, it's always nice to play when you're in a bad mood.
