Doesn't lack complications or a bright contrast thats for sure. It doesnt lack fun for a short period of time neither. The game breaks down into three large and very different and fun titles but i would like tp focus on only one which is city trial. It has many different tasdks and awards like different colored Kirby and sound players. It is very hard to get the awards and because of the difficulty of these tasks and the time limit the game will get very frustrating after a while. When you finally get the hang of this game it will get only so little more fun. So it all boils down to random guessing and confusing controls but when you get the hang of the game it can kind of become... fun.
