Not an amazing game, but not a horrible game either.
Kirby Super Star Ultra is essentially a mini-game collection. Granted some of the games are fairly long, but most are quite short. Part of my score might come from the fact that the reviews I read made it seem like this game came with a couple full sized games. Not the case. Most of the modes are not regular Kirby adventures. They seem to rely on some gimmick or another. These gimmicks are not really bad they just don't add a whole lot to the game play. Spring Breeze and the harder King's Revenge are the most normal and, at least to me, fun modes, but they are also some of the shortest.
This game is also VERY easy. A seasoned gamer could get 100% in three or four days of moderate play time easy. This doesn't detract too much, but that should be in your mind if you are considering buying this game.
The graphics, as in every Kirby game, are bright and colorful. The music is bright and whimsical.
I guess the reason this game doesn't receive its highest marks from me is because I was disappointed. This game is not bad. Don't think that for a second, it just was not what I thought it was going to be.
