Sweet mother of Sakurai, JACKPOT!!!
Today, Cloudkirby gorges himself In Kirby Super Star Ultra.
Story:
The game is broken up into a bunch of mini-stories. You play each story, which are on average about 8 levels long, and move on to the next.
Play the game for yourself, I'm to lazy to explain them here.
Gameplay:
KSSU Is similar in terms of gameplay for every game with slight differences. Spring Breeze is your typical Kirby format. Dynablade has a map feature, Great cave offensive plays like a cross between Kirby, Metroid, and Wario. Gourmet race is an obstacle course, Revenge of Metaknight is timed, and Milky Way wishes uses Copy ability essances instead of normal copy abilities. I could mention the Newer modes, but their just harder versions of old modes.
But they all involve inhaling, copying, helper making, and fighting.
There are many other modes, but they are all minigames.
Music: The music in KSSU is very Kirby-ish but with a melody you just want to listen to all day. Best Kirby soundtrack ever.
Graphics:
The 2D graphics are ok, but the 3D rendered cutscenes are really what blew my mind, Freakin'-a!
So, Cloudkirby, you ball of pure awesomeness, is this a good game.
An Awesome game. Go out and buy it. Its Kirby's best.
The reason this review is so short is that Its too good for words.
