Definitely the most unappreciated Kirby game and my personal favorite. Worth picking up.

Kirby's Adventure is a great game starring everyone's favorite 8 inch puffball, Kirby! This is the game that really put Kirby on the map in my opinion, and it is my own favorite Kirby game. In the game, there are seven levels, each with four or more stages. Unlike in Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby is now able to use the abilities of each enemy he sucks up (provided the enemy has a special power) when you swallow with Kirby. Yes, this game is the responsible game for giving Kirby one of the best and most unique powers in the gaming world- the ability to suck up enemies and use their abilities. Kirby is also able to fly by sucking in air when you press up on the D-pad. The game is not hard to learn, and it is very fun and challenging once you get to play it. There are bosses at the end of each level, and once you beat the boss you get a piece of the Star Rod. One of my favorite all-time boss battles is the boss battle in level 6 when you get to battle Meta Knight in a classic sword duel. The level 7 boss battle against King Dedede in the Fountain of Dreamsis also one of my favorite boss battles. After you beat him, you recover the last piece of the Star Rod, and then you put the Star Rod back into the fountain, bringing peace to Dream Land...or do you? The game doesn't end there. When you complete the game and get 100%, you can access the challenge mode where you only get half of your health.

Not only are the bosses fun, but the stages in each level can also be challenging, and there are three great minigames to play. If you see this game for sale anywhere and you have a NES, you can't pass up this game. Kirby's copy ability makes the game unique, and this is the game that put Kirby on track to where he is today. A must have.
