Wildly imaginative

User Rating: 9.5 | Hoshi no Kirby: Yume no Izumi no Monogatari NES
When I first played this game when it came out, it featured one of the most imaginative worlds. For one it was one of the few non-RPGs that actually took a shot a real story. The worlds were beautifully designed to reflect the most dazzling of dreams with peaceful music flowing gently with the gameplay. The game featured a convenient save system which isn't really necessary for most but still nice for the ADDers. It's most creative feature however, is that Kirby has the ability to assume a few dozen "roles" or weapons by consuming various enemies. Now, while it suffers from serious "slowdown" it doesn't take much away from the experience as the game is very forgiving. Overall, if you've missed this retro classic and are interested in fantasy then you might want to check it out.
