You can beat this game in one hour, if even that. That's not nesseccarily a bad thing. For the time it was a solid platformer. The layout of the levels was varied enough. This was one of the first games I got for my GB. I still like to pull it out occassionally just for old times sake. There's really not much else to say, really. The bosses are simple and slow moving the first time around. Your attacks are basic: inhale an enemy, spit at another, repeat. If you have a distance to fall, you can land on and kill most enemies. The spicy food power-up grants you fireballs for a change of pace. The music is fun. Not much to it, but enough to aid in your experience without getting annoying. As for replay value, the is an "Extra" mode in which the enemies are faster and attack more often. Still, the levels are exactly the same.
Kirby fans might enjoy viewing the origin. The box shot on this site, however, is not what you'll see. On my game, Kirby is white.
If you find this game at a garage sale for under $3, you won't regret it. It's fun while it lasts, but is over sooner than a Freezer Snowman in July.
