Klonoa: Door to Phantomile

Good solid platforming that does not awe or disappoint

I really did not have 800 characters' worth to describe Klonoa's Wii outing, but that is what is required, and I have always wanted to put my 2 cents' worth on this game.

I loved the original Klonoa games (Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, PSone)(Klonoa2: Lunatea's Veil PS2) and when I heard this was being re-imagined for the Wii, I had to take a look, as it piqued my interest. I can say I was not disappointed. Gameplay is just as tight, especially with the Classic Controller, and the graphics are nice, cartoony and vivid.

Although shorter than I remember it being, the playability, story, and animations are solid. How did this stack up with previous iterations? Well, it's better, as a sum, than it's original PS1 counterpart, but not quite as good as Klonoa 2. If you like platformers, please give this a try.
