For a launch title, this game is surprisingly creative with a good story line (with a couple of twists). While it may not be groundbreaking in its genre (think Sly Cooper/Ratchett and Clank style games), it does offer a game that is accessible to the family, with pretty good graphics, sensible gameplay/controls, and which seemed to be a bit lacking at launch on both platforms (yes technically this was a PS4 launch title, but I think many people overlooked it!).
I wouldn't necessarily say that it should be the deciding factor as to PS4/XBoxOne purchase for the household, but if you have kids, and already have a PS4 it is well worth finding a copy.
