What the game has, is great. Wat the game misses is a lot.

You could say that 'Knigths of the Temple: Infernal Crusade' is again another rip-off of so many of those hack&slash games. You could say that this game is a lot like 'Devil May Cry'. But remember; this game was first. And you can see that clearly.

The graphics aren't that great, the enemies are sorted in a few types and all of those types have the same faces. It looks like they're al brothers of each other.

Another irritating thing is that the most barrels and crates can be slashed in pieces, however a few cannot. So don't hit a barrel ten times; it won't fall apart.

What the game does good is the hack and slash work against your foes. You have two options: the quick attack and the heavy attack. You can combinate them to great attacks. When you're further in the game you'll be able to unlock some cool combo-moves, that will increase the fun of slashing and killing. You will even unlock the abbility to heal yourself. When an enemy falls on the ground, you can choose to use a brute final strike move. Something you really want to if you're a badass gamer as I am. Of course these things aren't really new, but they fortunatelly work good.

The story of the game is dumb. You have to save a girl who is captured by an evil bisshop. Not very original. I mean, the Mario games already have this princip: Save the princess from the evil badass. Of course the girl you have to save in 'Knights of the Temple' is not a princess. But the storyline is just not original and very boring.

If your in search for a interesting Meideval game with a great story; don't get this one. If you're looking for a lineair slasher; get this one!
