Considering that it's on the GBA and what most movie to game adaptations are like, it's still a lot of fun to play

Right off the bat, the one thing that leaves room for improvement is the map. I've seen worse in other games but it's still a rather bit of a nuissance to try to get from one are to another when trying to accomplish a mission. The A.I. isn't bad either and the mini-games that involve Carl moving aroung blocks out of your way have just the right difficulty. They're not too hard but still make you think. With that being said, the few missions that let you play as Kong instead of either Carl, Jack and sometimes Anne, just aren't all that much fun. Granted, you can't compare the GBA version to the X-Box or PS2, but at least they had more than just a small handful of moves for the big ape. The only thing that really make this game worth playing are the missions in the jungle with Carl, Jack and Anne and those are by far the best parts. The sound in this game is quite impressive considering the technical specs of the GBA. All in all, despite a couple of problems with the game, it's still a very enjoyable game to play and it's easy to lose track of time playing it.
