Kung fu was a really short game, one could easily blast his way through within an hour or two. However its replay value was high, since there were two mode Game A which stood for Normal and Game B for Hard. And Game B was very challenging.

Like most of the games back in the days, graphics were more like toys coming out of Lego, but com'on what do you expect from '85 game.

The story was very simple, your girlrfiend has been kidnapped, and now it's up to you to save the day, and punish the villains.

As for the gameplay, the enemy A.I can be very pesky especially in a boss fight, at times enemies would pop out from behind while you're busy beating a helluva hard boss. The most annoying boss was the knife-thrower, not only he was helped by his minions but his knives were pretty damaging, so now you had to avoid the knives, to beat the minions and to beat the boss.

As I said above, though the game is short, wrapped up in five levels, you'll have some fun playing Kung fu .

If you haven't played Kung fu, well you probably are out of luck or 21 years late.
