The graphics are amazing; however, the gameplay even though it is addictive, it sometimes feel very artificial.

User Rating: 8.5 | L.A. Noire PS3
As soon as you start playing the game you will be stunned by the beauty and authenticity of the 1940s environment; even though the overall graphics is around 7.5/10, the faces and facial expressions is by far the best I have seen. Prioritizing the focus on facial expressions is logical, since the game's backbone are the investigations in which the player must decide which way the investigation is going based on the facial expressions of the suspects. The voice acting is astonishing, every character you interact with inside the game looks real and sound real. Thumbs up to LA Noire's realism.

Because I'm not into the 1940's music I was worried to be annoyed by the sound track; Again LA Noire surprise me with perfectly created playlist which enhances the game's experience and appeal to most of the people.

The game starts with easy cases to investigate, yet again the realism of the investigation makes it really interesting and addictive at first; But later in the game investigating the cases feels repetitive and somehow boring regardless of the cases plots. And in general I didn't feel that the main storyline is as good as it should be, the game gives you the feeling that each case is a plot by itself and it doesn't add anything significant to the main storyline. The driving experience is not as good as GTA, and the movement feels a little bit artificial. However I enjoyed gun fights a lot even though they were too easy.

In the end, the city is huge, the environment is authentic, the facial expressions are astonishing, the soundtrack enhances the experience, and investigating the cases is somehow addictive even though it feels a little bit repetitive towards the end. On the other hand, LA Noire could have done a better job connecting the main storyline, and giving more freedom to the player during chases and fights.

My overall experience was good 18hrs of game play; even though I expected more.
