It's Worse Than Your Father's Rush!

Being a long time fan of the Rush series, you can bet I was anticipating this game. When I had finally snagged a copy of my own and put it into my Xbox and played through a bit, I was sorely dissapointed. Having to go through a badly done story mode wasn't good enough, but the driving system was what really got to me. Since I like to play with Manual Transmission, that took some getting used to since you can't edit your control the way you want to (which to me is a sin in racing games). Having to race around some of the same parts of the city 16 different times with really bad AI controled cars was enough for me to put the controller down.

I had high hopes for this Rush title, but Midway manages to screw up a perfectly good series with this trash. Bottom line, if you're a fan of Rush, get Midway Arcade Treasures 3 and play San Francisco Rush and Rush 2049. You'll have a better time with the classics than with this.
