Ok this is definitely what Eidos should not have done! It's a shame that they gave into customer demand and put this game out way to early. Granted, this game was long in the making, but it should have been even longer in the making. Considering that a lot of the fan base has dwindled throught the years this Tomb Raider should have been a new awakening not the "nail in the coffin". Though the game is actually pretty fun, the obvious is hard to over look. Slowdowns feel like your doing the Max Payne thing (Matrix if you will), the audio cutting out on you, and probably the most frustrating...the controls. I don't really need to go into detail but these problems should have been dealt with way before releasing this game. But be glad it's not all bad. After a little while the sluggish controls become second nature and the story keeps you pretty interested into what may happen next. The graphics, as expected are great. The animation of Lara and the others are top notch. And finally, the best thing about this game is the audio. It fits perfect when it doesn't cut out on you. If you have the patience to over look the many flaws of this new addition to Tomb Raider then I would suggest getting it, but if not...don't waste your time, you may have to buy a new tv or playstation when it's all set and done.
