Last Chaos is a great MMORPG that offers things you would have to pay for, free.
Graphics 10/10 - I don't think there's another free MMORPG with graphics like these. They are just under World of Warcraft, seriously.
Sound 9/10 - There are some great and really epic tunes that play in this game and fit the mood perfectly. Also, the battle sounds are great. I personally think the game could have used a little bit more variety in music, however.
Gameplay 9/10 - The controls are very simple and easy to master. Click. That's it. There is also a HotBar (like in every other MMO), offering you to use the F keys to quickly use items and abilities. Using this, the game isn't entirely mouse-oriented and the keyboard shortcuts let you quickly navigate the excellent menus and inventory screens.
Value 10/10 - Seriously, download this game. It's definitely worth all of your time, and you will get hooked immediately.
Now the more complicated parts. Last Chaos features many quests to complete, and tons of monsters to kill. Player killing is also very in-depth. There is also an interesting system called the "Guardian System." This basically lets players under level 20 to have a mentor of sorts, people who help them get to level 20. These people are generally a much higher level than you, so they can attack monsters that are stronger than you and thus get you some experience. There are also some great spells and abilities to master in the game. You can have multiple characters on the same account, which is fitting because there are six different races to choose from. Each race also has three different facial and hair styles. There are so many different types of weapons and armor to get, and many different skills to master, such as Herbalism and Alchemy. You can also get a pet. You get a choice between a horse and a dragon, of which you need to collect special items to acquire. Your pets may seem small when you get them, but when you level them up, they can become giant mammoths, especially the dragon. If you just walk around the town of Randol (the main area) a little bit, you'll see that many mastadon-sized dragons populate the skies.
Overall, Last Chaos is a great game and definitely worth your time and hard disk space.
