This game has great elements, but it could be so much better.
For a few days, I had long nights playing this game with my friends. But after a while, the fun in the game was gone, especially when the premiere party was over.
The fun matches you experience soon become repetitive. Constantly going in a certain directions and going through the long process of pushing and defending until someone surrenders or loses. This can get very boring very quickly.
Another issue that I found with the game is the store that they have to buy upgrades. First off, this game is free to play. That being said, they do have you spend money for stuff like additional skins for your favorite champion. Personally, I find that to be a huge waste for something like skins. I could understand really strong characters or special glyphs, but character skins?
This game isn't entirely bad though. The visuals are very nice. Plus, there is information of how to play as or defeat every champion, making matches easier if you do your research. You can also receive special spells (heal, teleport, revive, mana regen, etc.) which can make or break a specific fight, depending on how they're used.
In short, this game does have some fun, and in the future I expect that it will have a lot to offer. But, at the moment, with only a few maps, this isn't a game I'm going to say to go rush and download. It is a lot of fun to play with friends, especially if you can fill all five team slots with people you trust. Again, I wouldn't completely cut this game from your "I want to play this" list just yet. Give it time and it could actually be great.
