Based on the hit mode of DotA, with some very interesting changes, boosted graphics, new ideas how did it end up?

To begin with League of Legends (LoL) is a game exposing more people to the elements that composed DotA. (wiki it if you don't know anything about it). After trying this out I've game to be pretty good which I will explain further later but still it has a few flaws.

Game basics- You act as a summoner in the Institute of War that will select a champion to fight against other champions in an attempt to essentially trash the enemies base. You win by wrecking your foe's nexus which is in their base. In these battles can be up to 5 players against another 5 in real time with plenty of fights.

Here is the gist of what I've found with this game.

Good-

fun multiplayer action,

decent graphics,

tutorial to ease you into the game,

gets all of the "magic" spark that makes a game remain addictive, fun and fresh,

plenty of customization options to play how you want,

constant updates,

many different champions and items to pic and do what YOU want,

easy to get into a game

Bad-

rushed out a few options missing, (could've had more maps, more in-depth tutorial, more modes, etc.)

Story- The story is there with a decent amount of depth but because this is a session based game there is story but it doesn't really change when you play.
It's there but only if you want to take a look at it, it's not forced upon which I believe is a good thing in games since some players may just wanna play and don't care while some others do care.

Gameplay- The gameplay feels straight from DotA just a bit slower. It's got all the real time action team battles and ambushes ("ganks") The gameplay stays pretty fresh with many different champions, items and other customization options.

Graphics/Sound- The graphics are decent I believe, though some visuals involving a champion's abilities are used over different champions though each champion having unique looks and different skills help. Graphics overall aren't bad and the sound is decent, many nice effects kabooms ,clinks, evil laughs, vooshes and many more.

Playtime/Replayability- The game has excellent replayability as the game remains fresh through the vast number of champions, items and other customization options, furthermore with it's fun real time quick paced action it's good also every game counts towards letting you unlock more content. Also new content is coming out regularly.

Final recommendations- Try it out first, it's free to play though you can spend money into it if you want. It's pretty enjoyable though I think there's always room for improvement, it's good but just about any game can go through more refinement and polishing beforehand getting released. It's an enjoyable game overall.
