I played it since closed beta. It is still good, aswell the community. If everything goes right it'll get even better.
League of Legends is really a good game. The community is alright. If you need help you can everytime check the forums for guides, answers, or maybe just to waste time.
You can practice with others players to learn how to use a certain hero before going for normal matches if you are already bored with the AI.
The matches can be a bit frustrating early (like a random player killing himself by going into a turret), but spent some hours and you'll soon find yourself playing 1-hour games, or maybe with Riot members and exciting turnovers.
The only thing it lacks is maps, but I believe they'll be added soon, since there are still heroes begin released and balanced.
So, League of Legends is for those who can be patient, and will end into a good multiplayer experience.
