This game takes the dota formula and adds many unique features such as summoner profiles and levels, summoner skills, runes, masteries, and different game play elements. The champions have a wide variety of playing style from simple hack and slash to requiring excellent timing. The game rewards plays that are willing to learn to play the harder to play champions while still maintaining a balanced game. Match making system is well done. Only real problem is that Riot doesnt fix several aesthetic bugs that have been prevalent for a while. These dont really break the game play in any way. It just makes the lobby look sloppy. New content is released fairly regularly and champion rotation allows players to preview a character before unlocking them. The steep learning curve seems unattractive at first, but because of the match making system it isnt too bad. If you are willing to listen to more skilled players and try to learn rather than getting upset that you arent doing well you will pick up the game much faster.
