A great game with well implemented RPG elements.

League of Legends is a real time strategy game, but it's nothing like Age of Empires, or anything like that. Here's how it works, there are 2 maps, one 3 VS 3 and one 5 VS 5. The 3VS3 one has two lanes and the 5VS5 one has three lanes. There are minions being constantly deployed on the lanes, and you and the other players play as an actual character. You have 4 active abilities which provide a great mix of strategic depth and action. Your goal is to destroy the enemies base. On each lane there are towers which are fairly strong so you have to make sure plenty of minions survive to be a shield for you.

There are a lot of characters, each with their own unique abilities and play style. After each battle, you get experience and IP. IP can be used to buy characters and glyphs for your characters. as you level up, you unlock more slots for glyphs which provide minor, but useful effects such as a higher critical hit chance, dodge rate, maximum health etc. veteran players aren't extremely over powered though, which is great. Also there's a World of Warcraft-esque talent tree.

One problem is that since a lot of the players are very experienced, they don't take too well to people that aren't very experienced.
