Ok, so if you want to unlock champions quicker and if you want to get the nifty skins you have to pay. However, you technically could unlock all of the champions in the game and deck them all out in runes without paying a dime. When you first get into it, and particularly in the lower tier games, it can be extremely annoying, and you will get murdered a lot. But once you really start to learn the game and understand everything, it becomes incredibly fun. I recommend finding some friends to play with, and getting a Vent, or LAN, because that is where the game has its biggest strengths. If you are communicating, using strategy, and not being stupid, it is easy to pave through the other team. All in all, the game isn't perfect, and everyone will have varied opinions on it. However, I find it hard to give this game anything less than a perfect scored based on how many hours of fun you can have, without having to pay for anything.
