The characters, new weapons, campaigns, and enemies are inspired and fantastic. Though aging, the Source engine still looks great. The same high quality of voice acting from the original returns, and is even better. The campaigns are longer, more cohesive, and much more varied. Chainsawing through a mass of zombies is gaming nirvana :D

The Down:

The series is still aching for a deeper narrative. Gameplay can get a bit repetitive. You still have to deal with the dregs of humanity while playing online. The 5 great campaigns eventually end :D

The Bottom Line:

If the idea of chopping, blasting, shooting, burning, and smashing your way through zombie infested Georgia with a few friends along for the ride appeals to you at all, then you must pick up a copy of Left 4 Dead 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okkkkkkkk
