Left 4 Dead is a great game for all of the zombie fans out there.
Bad: Only 20 maps to play on, only 7 true weapons, repetitive gameplay.
Left 4 Dead is by the best zombie survival game I have ever played, with a lot done right. Teamwork is required here, and working together killing hundreds of zombies can be great fun. The atmosphere is great, the zombies moan and cry in rage at appropriate times, and the Source engine looks its best on Left 4 Dead. You have 4 different "movies" to play on: No Mercy - a urban rush to get to a hospital, Death Toll - A stroll through various sewers, tunnels, and towns, Dead Air - Construction and airport mayhem, and Blood Harvest - a rural death trap with a great finale. All these movies are unique, but after playing them several times each, they lose some of their luster. This game is really multiplayer only, but Valve did include a single player. My only gripes about Left 4 Dead are the lack of more weapons and campaigns can take a little too long where all your teammates leave the game.
Left 4 Dead is a great zombie game, where almost anyone who likes having fun with your friends will enjoy.
