A highly addicting, replayable masterpiece with a co-op experience like never before. An instant classic.

User Rating: 9 | Left 4 Dead PC
Left 4 Dead is incredible at making all of its elements work together. The cooperative play makes playing by yourself plain boring, the mix of common zombies as well as a few special zombies mix it up, and the director AI ensures that you can play through every campaign again and again. A few minor complaints, a strong machine is required to play it with good graphics or you will suffer with 1 frame per second, lack of weapon variety, and the occasional lag spike depending on the server status.

Left 4 Dead lives up to it's name, you will be instantly excited when you watch the cinematic introduction the first time you load the game, and you will not be left down afterwards. The PC version is a must if you have a good machine, but if you just want it to work without any mods and with excellent graphics and frame rate, get the xbox version.

There are very few bugs or glitches if you play normally, but if you try to purposely find bugs, you may find a few, but nothing that interupts gameplay. Realism is slightly off when you can shoot your teammate around 15 times before he will fall to the ground, but the regular zombies will die to a single shot to the head, as expected.

A great game, it's relatively cheap, and you should at least play through it a hundred times before Left 4 Dead 2 comes out, in november. Hopefully it will live up to the standard set in Left 4 Dead.
