Being a fan of the series I had high expectations of this game, where Kain and Raziel would both be playable and the legacy would come to an end. The first hour or so were a bit dissapointing to say the least. The camera took a lot of getting used to and kept irritating me all trough the game, and I was also a bit dissapointed by the fact that there was not a lot of difference in gameplay between Kain and Raziel. Those things aside defiance has some incredible looking enviroments that show the same dedication to detail and architechture as in the previous legacy of kain games and the story was again very interesting. The voice acting is top notch as are the various enemies you encounter. Gameplay: 7 The game played very smooth with both Kain and Raziel, though I preferred to play with Kain. The only screw up here was the annoying camera. Graphics: 8 Like in the previous games the graphics were eye candy and especially the mansion of Vorador looked great. Sound: 10 Great soundtrack altough not as great as the soundtrack for the first Soul reaver game. Perfect voice-acting. Value: 8 It's a pretty long game and it will keep you busy for more then 10 hours probably. After your done you get a whole bunch of bonus material such as outtakes from the voice acting and original character sketches. Reviewer's Tilt: 9 Cuz I'm a fan of the series :) Total score: 8.2
