After falling in love with Legend of Legaia, I was highly anticipating the release of this game. And I highly disappointed. Though the fighting style was pretty much the same as the first, I thought the ra-seru in Legend of Legaia were a much better idea than the guardian spirit or whatever it was called in Legaia 2. This game had a horribly less interesting plot, less interesting characters, and pretty much everything else in the game was less than what it was in Legend of Legaia. If only they could come out with a Legaia game that followed up on the original with the same characters and created another story around them. Perhaps that could atone for the crime they committed when making this game and giving it the title of Legaia 2.
