A very fun game with a lot of content to cover
Same battle system, but its also slightly different.
One think i was disappointed in was that you couldnt capture creatures in this game, and that you could note really level up the magic skills.
other then that I loved this game as much as the original. The new Variable Arts combos offer a unique trial by error battle quest (or if you cheat and look the commands up i guess it doesnt xP).
The story, while weird at times, is very good.

The only thing I do not like about this game is that some of the bosses have weaknesses or strengths (as in can absorbe dmaange) to certain kinds of attacks, like one of the next to last bosses, its only vulnerable to physical attacks, therefor its harder then hell to beat if your not leveled enough xD.
all in all though, not a bad sequel to Legaia.
