A good Beat 'em Up that can keep you occupied for a while.
Ok, let's start. The story... You are a Warrior who has to stop an evil guy from resurrecting an even more evil, long-dead king. The game has six stages (if I remember correctly) and one ...ummm, let's call it "extra Stage". You have to play the "extra stage" if you get caught by a sub-boss. (He shoots nets after you, and if he's able to trap you, you'll be jailed and have to escape from the prison.) All the stages are quite different from each other. As you might have guessed, you'll have to beat up many enemies till you have the credits on your screen. But, that's one of the good things about this game, this never gets really boring. You just have your standard Beat 'em Up - Moves (normal hit, jump kick etc.), but, and this is the special thing about this game, you can collect items, too. First, there are items which will allow you to do ultimate attacks, which do huge damage to everything on the screen (except you, of course :) ). Then there are keys which will open the chests in the bonus levels (yeah, there are bonus levels, too). Oh, and goodies which restore your health are there, too. Last but not least, there's money which gives some score points upon collecting. Items can be found in barrels etc. or can be dropped by beaten enemies.
The bosses and sub-bosses are all fun and challenging. The sound is quite nice, but may become a little repetitive soon. Graphics are quite nice, too. Two things are not so good about this game: First, the ending is really not satisfying. Second, there are not so many different enemy types and sprites.
Well, value... I think it's pretty high since this game is challenging, but not too hard. The game doesn't take long to finish, so you may just replay it for some quick fun. There's a 2 Player-Mode, too, so if you have a buddy who's willing to play this game with you, this could mean even more fun.
I like this game very much since it's a good Beat 'em Up in my opinion. It's definitely worth a try!
