Too Complicated For Kids

When I stood in store contemplating purchasing Lego Batman 2, I should have gone with my better judgement which told me that this game would let me down.

And what a disappointment it is.

For those of you out there who may consider buying this for kids 7 and under, I would not recommend that you do so.

Some of the 'puzzles' are a bit much for younger kids to figure out.

As for the gameplay, it's repetitive in some sense.

The character control is terrible mainly because of the camera control.

At times players will also get stuck in parts of buildings, etc., and you have to switch the character and travel a distance to get the other player to catch up and become unstuck.

I'd only recommend this game for the ages of 8-13.

Anything under 8 will be too much of a challenge, and anything over 13 will consider it lame...
