Missing the spark of the other Lego titles

Now, I'm not a kid but the Lego games are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, haha. This one however was a bit of a disappointment.

I felt that some parts of the game were harder than they had to be. The dark environment sometimes made it hard to see what needed to be done to advance. The bat cave was poorly designed, as it wasn't easy to access different areas at all.

I enjoyed Star Wars and Indiana Jones much more. I finished them both yet this one sits and gathers dust. There's something about it that just bugged me... with the others you seemed to be able to move seamlessly from area to area but this one seemed so clunky. Something didn't feel right. Maybe Lego and Batman aren't such a good mix? Play and see for yourself. But I strongly suggest that you rent before you buy, even if you are a fan of the other Lego titles.
