A bit "same-old same-old" after Indy and Star Wars.

I was really looking forward to this one (who doesn't like Batman?), but after having played through both Star Wars LEGO series and the Indiana Jones game, I was expecting more. Perhaps I had too high of expectations. Don't get me wrong, if you like LEGO games, then this one won't disappoint. I was just looking for something a bit more engaging. My biggest fault with the game was that I felt i was further away from the action. With SW and IJ, the figures were closer to the camera and thus bigger. With Batman, the figures were further away (sure you get to see more scenery), but it felt less like I was playing with my LEGOs, and made controlling the characters a bit more difficult at times.
If you're a die-hard LEGO gamer, then go for it. If you're looking for novel, try something else.
