A great game, definately worth playing, despite it's flaw (see main text); but not as good as LEGO Starwars2

Overall this game is great. It is sharp and funny; good graphics, (for a ps2), good puzzles, and some interesting re-imagining of the movies it was based on.

The one MAJOR issue with this game is that the camera is a complete moron!

It is not an exageration to say that the camera struggles to be in the right place for at least 50% of the game. And it can REALLY spoil the co-op play as the camera inexplicably moves behind some piece of scenery, getting stuck, and consequently making it impossible to see either character. You cannot even move the camera enough to make them visible again at some points.
And the camera's complete lack of intelligence also leads to the most infuriating thing ever to plague platform games; The "leap of faith", apt in this game, but still excrutiating when you jump for a rope swing, or even just from one ledge to another and find you have actually missed it; sailing through the air to land in a colourful explosion of body parts and keeping you one step away from the True Adventurer status on this level, (yet again).

I don't remember this ever being a problem with either of the LEGO starwars games, and I sincerely hope it is not something that plagues the upcoming LEGO Batman. I suspect it is partly to do with the increase in front of screen scenery; making the jungle level more jungley, more 3D-ey and more perspectiv..........ey? But to be honest I would have been happy to have foregone some of that just to be able to jump onto a rope first time without having to be on the EXACT spot needed; and to be able to jump off said rope, (when I eventually managed it), without sailing past the opposite ledge and dying. LEGO Starwars got it right! Travellers Tales, Sort it!
