Never gets old.
The first Lego Star Wars had lots of fun and creative action, humor, and puzzle solving encorporated with the different scenes in the movies, and this game is no different. In fact, except for everone but droids being able to build things, some new character classes, new special abilities, and some better vehicle levels, this game is almost the same as the first one. Now, you can fly around the various levels such as Hoth and the Death Star freely.
The gameplay is simple, if not too simple. I love it, but it's definetly not for a gamer looking for a challenge. There is no way to completely lose a level, just a way to lose alot of studs, currency traded for hints, characters vehicles, and cheat codes. The quirky camera angles do serve a purpose, as I have just discovered recently. They make you feel like you're playing with the Legos, not being the Legos themselves. This sort of third person surreal experience is what sets this game apart from all other Star Wars games. Love it or hate it, this game is way too easy.
