The best Lego game. But that's coming from a big Lord of the Rings fan. The Lego-ised Middle-Earth looks quite splendid, and best of all, you get to explore all of it (even though it's in shortened Lego form) something no other game has let you do. Level design and gameplay are all great, a must have for a fan of Lego and Lord of the Rings.
Story - 9, Lord of the Rings story with Lego slapstick.
Gameplay - 8, classic Lego with Lord of the Rings-inspired puzzles. Works well.
Visuals - 7, pretty good.
Music - 10, Lord of the Rings scores can not be beaten.
Controls - 8, suits the controller well.
Multiplayer - 8, Lego two player always fun.
Characters - 8, great characters, but Lego takes away their impact a bit.
Fun - 8, like most Lego games.
Overall - 8.0
