Even if you liked the books and movie' this isn't a great game.
Throughout the game you can play as Klaus and Violet and switch between the 2. While playing the game' you will notice that searching a place for certain items to make inventions seems to be the whole point of the game. The gadgets do vary but you won't have to use many of them very often. With your inventions you can fly' reach higher places' and just use them to attack your enemies or Count Olaf's henchmen. The game is surprisingly short limiting the replay value. The graphics are pretty low in detail and the sound falls short. If your a fan of Lemony Snicket you might want to rent this one but please do that before you decide to buy it.
