Good
- the story starts really slow. Wasn't really into the high school drama. But all of it slowly started building up. People who you hated, turned a over a leaf, and changed my mind about them. Things all escalated from 0-100, and gripped me.
- the characters were memorable. Lots of interactions with them, and the each have unique personalities. If I was younger, I'd probably be able to relate to more of it, but I still was able to enjoy it by putting myself in my high school days.
- the rewinding mechanic is very interesting. The gameplay surrounding it was really well executed. The gameplay puzzles were simple, which was good, cause that wasn't the focus.
- The big time leaps were a pleasant surprise. It was done very well.
- The amount of choices the player is allowed to make is very impressive, and they actually affect the game in substantial ways. Even the smaller ones affect dialogues, and bigger events. Every choice gives a different reaction as well.
- i love all the monologue Max has. It really builds her character.
- I could examine a lot of things. This helped build the world, and you really got a sense of what Arcadia Bay and Blackwell was like.
- the trippy sequence in ep5 was very cool.
- the music suited the gameplay and cutscenes very well.
Bad
- the facial emotions could've been better. For the major cutscenes, I wish they made higher quality animations.
