It might be your favorite game ever or might just bring a smile to your face but one thing is clear: You'll have fun.
Little Big Planet might seem like a 5 year old's entry level title to current generation consoles. Its colorful and sack boy is lovable. Start this up with the family around and you'll be a hero.
Would you ever expect to start this game up when you're alone? If not, then you're in for a shock. LBP is arguably one of the most addictive current gen games to date and once you start then you simply can't stop.
You're sack boy and you need to complete levels. Its simple. No, you're not saving the world or repelling aliens, you're just moving from level to level, accomplishing goals, and looking for more fun. Completing a certain percentage of a level unlocks a new level but you're sure to return to get 100% on all levels.
The simple goal is finish all levels and the game is over. You don't even need 100% on all levels to finish the game but, thankfully, you can keep playing after the game is over and try for 100% on all levels.
There are fun games in between levels that include various races.
A huge drawback is some levels have areas that require 2 people, 3 people and sometimes 4 people to complete. You'll need to find people online or have enough controllers to lets family and friends help you out.
The graphics are amazing, the sound is perfect, and the challenge and gameplay is just right to make you try hard yet be completely relaxed at the same time. The biggest drawback, in my opinion, is game length. If you get addicted then you'll run through the 50 levels fairly quickly. Game of the Year edition brings in 18 more levels at least.
The online world opens up a new door at least. There are at least a million levels uploaded so find some players online and have a crack at the levels, even if it contributes in no way to your overall progression in the game and is only meant for fun.
9.5/10. Great game, relaxing but challenging, no bugs or issues, but it could be longer.
