Surely there's nothing wrong or harmful about some little yellow blobs?
The graphics are a little childish, but what's not to like about a simple layout of foreground and charcter (in this case little blob-creatures) and then a simple, semi-animated background. If I remember correctly, this was MK's formula for a period until they moved 3D ( don't know much about MK as I was only introduced @ 16 by a mate).
Sound is a definite mute, but sometimes it just becomes tempting to turn it up to hear the little beggars scream with horror as the Mojas come towards them. Sound also helps with things like secret areas (but the little tufts on their head/s point towards it overriding that problem).
Gameplay is major-league class. It's a revolutionary mix of Katamari (sort of) and another game I played on the PS One when I was small but can't for the life of me think what it was called or even vaguely reproduce the aspects of it's gameplay. The mini-games are a little pathetic, but this game is aimed at little'uns, so I suppose they'll do.
I would probably value it quite high, but not quite Top 10 (11th at best!).
Overall, this deserves a perfect 10.
