So cute, it makes Furby look hideously ugly.

Once in a life time, you discover something that is truly mind-boggling, you initially do not know what to think of it and are stuck for words. In terms of PSP gaming, that's what Loco Roco is. An amazingly simplistic game, that just makes you drool.

What ever you do, do not be put off by its childish looks, its cute and graphically exciting. Even the toughest, stubble-chinned, leather-clad Harley Davidson motor mouth will not be able to resist its unique charms.

Its intriguing when you first see the box and you do literally think "What the f**k." I know I did, but as you play through the game, a wonderful explosion of fantastic colours and Tweety Pie cuteness just reduce you to jelly. Its brilliant.

Its simple. Three buttons, that's all you need to know. Shoulder buttons to tilt the world and circle to split and regroup you blob of happiness. It is perfectly suited for PSP, and from the minute you pick it up, you know this.

Levels are devilishly simple and addictive. Trying to grow as fat as you can by munching on flowers and avoiding the bad Moja Mojas. There's also a little bit of exploration and item collecting as you go along and all just gel so superbly into one jolly ball.

The graphics may look simple and due to this fact may be shunned for being crap, but when you see it in motion, it makes total sense. Blobs react to their environment, squashing and wiggling about like plates of jelly and levels recating to their movement aswell. One level has bridges that creat a tune when rolled over and some levels are soft and squashy and are liking rolling about a giant marshmallow. It's a visual feast of multi-reactional elements and it works fantastically on the PSP's screen.

There's no story, the overall game is way too short and levels are repeated about 5 times throughout the game, but you won't care, it's the most fun you can possibly and may ever have on your PSP. It's as addictive as Lumines, as tuneful as Gitaroo Man and as mad as Katamari, but overall you will not find another game like it.
