I remember the game being very difficult. You must quickly collect gold piles to unlock the exit from each room. But there were these guys that chased you around and you had to dig holes for them to fall into. If you timed it right, they would get covered by the dirt but most of the time, they would climb out and continue to chase you. You climb ladders and cross sideways on ropes in a classic platformer. Did I like it? Sure. But can I explain what I enjoyed the most about this game? It was the level editor. My cousin had this game for a while and became an expert level maker. He could whip up a level in a few minutes that would keep me busy for hours. Its all about knowing where to put things I guess. His levels were more complex than the main game and it left an impression on my long enough to actually care enough to put a post here on gamespot. Would I download this game for my Wii? No. Because the level sharing feature is what made this game for me and how difficult would it have been for them to include the WiiConnect24 feature to allow people who share Mii's to actually trade levels? My recommendation? Go out and get Mario VS Donkey Kong 2 for the Nintendo DS. I think I can claim that i have been the most addicted person to this game in the world. I think I can say this... The reason is that people have come and gone in the threads for trading FC's and I have been there since the beginning. I bought Mario VS DK 2 back when it was released in September of 06' and I have not stopped making levels. I only bought this game because I heard that it had a level editor. When I hear LEVEL EDITOR, it excites me. That phrase is basically saying that the company trusts its gameplay and players enough to give them the ability to create their own content. This also allows for endless replay value. I hope you enjoyed my review, but I hope you understand my honesty. Get this game if you are looking for a platformer to keep you busy for a few hours. And if you have friends or family who can visit you to play the game, maybe the level editor will work well in close settings.. But if you, like me, have no close friends who care to play edited levels, but would rather have the ability to trade FC's and such with people around the world, go out and get Mario VS DK2. -mushroomer
