Take a perfect puzzle formula. Then dress it up with Looney Tunes. The end result is a masterpiece you'll adore.

I don't know how Gamespot's Frank Provo could say "Sheep Raider is probably best left for those who will truly enjoy it: children." The cartoony graphics model the original animated shorts perfectly even though it's a 3D translation. If Frank thought this one was for the kids because of the cartoon look then i suppose adults couldn't enjoy the animated shorts.

On a second note Frank also hated the idea of infinite lives because it didn't pressure him to conserve his lives. I strongly disagree! This is a puzzle game. The idea isn't to attack bad guy after bad guy while trying to stay alive. The idea is to arrange and manipulate the objects presented to achieve your goal (which is sheep stealing).

The graphics are top notch for a PlayStation 1 game. It gets even better when you play it on a PlayStation 2 system with graphic and disc speed enhancements enabled. If the resolution were a bit higher i could swear that the game looked like a PlayStation 2 game.

This is one of those games that should have been a greatest hit. If you enjoy puzzle games and love Looney Tunes this is definitely for you.
