A difficult yet really good game!

User Rating: 8.5 | Lost in Blue 2 DS
A lot of elements from Lost in Blue 1 are back. The graphisms, the girl companion, the building system, the "health system" etc. But don't be fooled, there are a lot of additions.

New weapons, the cooking system, the upgraded builder system, the fights (you can now fight wild animals), new interactions with your companion, etc etc.

The game is a little easier than the first one but it's still pretty challenging.
This is probably mostly thanks to the fishing system, which was made a lot simplier. The succes rate in fishing was boosted and it is not really hard to bring back a lot of fish to your cave. It is also easier to get tasty meat: you just have to fight wild animals even bare handed if you have to.
You can also ask the girl to do stuff for you, like finding food or wood. Which is really helpful, since she can get you wood for your fire, even if there are none available at your usual gathering spot(s).

The story is a lot similar to the first one. You and a girl drift on an inhabited (?) island, and your goal is simple... survive. There are more surprises and different outcomes waiting for you though. You just have to hang on... and survive.

The game is definively worth your time, even if you already played the first one.
At first, for newcomers to the saga, the game might seem really hard. But with every discovery (a river, a place with tons of wood, fruits, or maybe lost items from a boat on the beach?) your survival will become easier.
For those who loved the first one, you will be able to quickly jump on the game, as it is pretty similar to the previous one in the basics.
