Lowrider is a very odd game that could have used some extra polish.

Lowrider is a game about cars, yet it has nothing to do with racing, customization, or even babes. Lowrider is, well... car bouncing. The whole game has you hitting buttons that appear on the screen just as a wheel hits th ground to bounce it back up. All of them require differnt patterns. For example, there's R1 L1 R1 L1 R1 L1 R1... X O Triangle Square, X, O, Triangle Square... and L3+R3, L3 + R3. The story mode isn't very creative or long, as it seems kind of 187's "Gangsta Mode" . The multiplayer is pretty good though as is the freeplay, becuase it feels like it never gets old. The gameplay isn't anything special though; the AI is flawed, it gets repetitive, and it is very simplistic. The grapphics are okay, but the framerate is a little croppy. The audio isn't that good though, there's like 2 music songs, annoying cheering, and black stereotypes. The hydraulics do sound realistic, however. Overall, Lowrider is a completely unique game that doesn't do everything right, but is worth a shot.
