I expected Luigi's Mansion to be a fun and new game. I always liked playing as Luigi in NES Super Mario Bros. games and stuff. But when I actually played this game I was sadly disappointed. The plot was... interesting I guess. But It was a bit repetetive for using the whole painting thing that was a surprise in SM64. I was just not satisfied with the game altogether. The game was short and too easy. The game could easily be completed in a matter of two-three hours. That's not the kind of game that I like. The game had an hour or so of fun but the final showdown between Luigi and King Boo was just too easy for my tastes. The graphics were good for GCN. It matched what I expected when it came to that. As for Sound, the music was just plain out... bad, in lack of a better word. The Sound effects were pretty good, liek the echoing footsteps in an empty hallway, the clinks of coins on the floor, etc. In conclusion, Luigi's Mansion just wasn't for me. And my expectations when it comes to a game are: •A decent amount of gameplay •Difficulty at least challenging •Something new and fresh If you have similar standards, Luigi's Mansion just isn't the right game to fulfill them.
