Ghostbusters Mario Bros. Style, one of the best games on the Gamecube.

I bought this game and I was so excited to jump in and play it so much so that I picked this game over Super Mario Sunshine or Super Mario Galaxy. I don't regret it one bit. It came at the perfect time too. I had just finished Ghostbusters on my PS3 and was getting a Wii and this game seemed like a good enough fit to satify the Ghostbuster in me and it did. This game has action, intense battles, and collecting of thousands of things. The gameplay is solid and last about 12-14 hours (longer then Ghostbusters so that a plus) thats is if you spend the time collecting the various jewels and gold. The Mansion is huge and even though you do alot of backtracking you'll always have something to do. There are about 25 main ghost you have to capture some 50 mini ghosts and there are some special ghosts hidden in the mansion as well. The graphics look great, granted I was playing on my Wii. The sound well its creepy but still has a very Super Mario bros vibe to it. The tune will be stuck in your heads for weeks, it does get annoying. The controls are a bit whobbly at first but once you get the hang of it you be capturing ghost left and right, ow and don't bother trying to change from Standard mode to Sidestep mode there is no visable difference in gameplay. Other then that this game doesn't do anything that innovative its just a fun game that looks great and will keep you entertained for a solid while. If you own a Wii don't pass this one up. Fun collecting game since you will be collecting Ghosts, Gold, Paper Money, Jewels, Keys, Fire, Water, and Ice.
